The Ada Historical Society has acquired a photo card by a 1800s photographer who lived in Ada. Martha Catherine Faxon, also known as Mrs. L. W. Schellhous, was born June 9, 1831 in New York. She married Loran Webster Schellhous on Christmas Day in 1850 in Branch County, Michigan.
